BERTRAND Bio Complete Food: The Unboxing Before My Personal Test

BERTRAND Bio Complete Food: The Unboxing Before My Review

Disclosure: BERTRAND provided me with the products for this review free of charge. The editorial evaluation and conclusion are independent and based on my own experiences. I was not paid for this post.

In my day-to-day life, I sometimes don’t have time to prepare a proper meal. Occasionally, I eat more for the pleasure of it, without really feeling full afterward—at least that’s how it is for me. For quite some time now, I’ve been thinking about how I can better integrate a healthy lifestyle into my daily routine. I like to choose organic foods because their origin and the environment are important to me. But how can I make that work in my stressful daily life?

One option could be meal replacement drinks. BERTRAND offers organic meal replacement drinks in single-use bottles as well as in pouches. They also offer snack sticks and bars. According to the manufacturer, the bars provide at least 15 percent of essential nutrients from natural ingredients.

The pouches are available in vegetarian and vegan varieties. For active individuals, BERTRAND also offers the Active and Vegan Active varieties. The bar flavors include Natural, Berry, Chocolate, Peanut, and Matcha.

At first glance, the formulation seems well thought out. According to the manufacturer, the products contain no synthetically added vitamins; the nutrients are said to come from natural ingredients. I’d like to find out in this test whether I like the taste of the products and whether they live up to the manufacturer’s promises.

My most important criterion will be satiety. The manufacturer promises that the meals will keep me full for a long time. I’ll also check how well the shake fits into my daily routine and whether it satisfies my hunger on the go. The shaker is compact and fits well in my backpack.

According to my research, one pouch costs about 14 euros on Amazon. I’d like to assess whether that’s affordable compared to other meal replacement products by looking at the price per serving.

Starting tomorrow, I’ll be testing the BERTRAND shakes and bars in my daily life. I’ll document how they taste, how long they keep me full, and how easy they are to prepare. I also want to find out if they give me enough energy for exercise and if they help me organize my daily routine better. During the test, I plan to avoid other highly processed foods so I can better evaluate my experience with the products.

One potential advantage of the shakes for me is that, according to the manufacturer, they use organic ingredients. When I cook, I have to select the organic quality of each ingredient individually. At the same time, sharing a meal is something special to me. This social aspect can be lost when relying on a liquid meal.

The products could be particularly appealing to people who have little time in their daily lives or are looking for a quick meal on the go. I’ll report back after the test to see if BERTRAND is a useful addition for me.
