Windows 11 offers numerous settings that allow you to customize privacy and system behavior. Engelmann AntiSpy 2 bundles many of these options in one place. I took a look at the values the program displayed on my test system and whether Windows continued to function normally in everyday use afterward.
First off: The test was brief and was conducted on an Insider Preview version of Windows 11. The results therefore cannot be readily applied to every Windows system. Additionally, the protection score displayed by the program is an internal rating and does not guarantee complete data protection.
Test System and Test Scope
For the test, I used the following versions:
- Engelmann AntiSpy 2: Version 2.26.730.14
- Windows: Windows 11 Pro Insider Preview Build 26220.9739, 64-bit
- List of Measures: v46.1 with 58 measures
Before making any changes, I created a system restore point. This would allow the system to be restored to its previous state if necessary.
The test was designed as a brief functional test. I checked two websites, the Windows Update settings, a search for “Editor,” and the use of common programs. These tests ran without any issues. However, this does not allow for a comprehensive assessment of all functions, programs, or the possible consequences of the individual measures.
The Engelmann AntiSpy 2 test focused on the recommended actions and the subsequent basic functionality of Windows 11.

Engelmann AntiSpy 2 Review: Results After Application
In the Engelmann AntiSpy 2 test, I examined which privacy settings the program offers on Windows 11 and whether the system could still be used normally after application. The brief hands-on test was conducted on Windows 11 Pro Insider Preview. During the test, I also checked the displayed protection score and the active measures.
Engelmann AntiSpy 2 Review: Did Windows Continue to Work?
During the brief follow-up tests, I didn’t notice any issues: The two websites I visited worked, I was able to open the Windows Update settings, the search for Notepad went smoothly, and I was able to use standard programs as well.
This is a limited impression based on just a few tests. I did not comprehensively test all Windows features or all installed applications.
Limitations of the Test
The testing period was short. Some effects of system changes may only become apparent later or only in certain usage scenarios. The results therefore do not constitute a long-term evaluation.
In addition, I used Windows 11 Pro Insider Preview Build 26220.9739. An Insider Preview may differ from a regular, stable version of Windows. The observations may therefore not apply to other builds or configurations.

I received Engelmann AntiSpy 2 for free. I was not paid for this article, and the manufacturer had no influence on the content or the outcome of my review.
In addition to privacy tools, I’ve also put file synchronization on Windows through its paces. In my Synchredible review, I show how easy it is to synchronize files and subfolders between two folders.
Conclusion: Engelmann AntiSpy 2 in a brief Windows 11 test
After applying its measures, Engelmann AntiSpy 2 displayed a protection score of 100 percent, with 50 out of 50 active measures and active background protection. My brief functional tests—including browsing websites, checking Windows Update settings, searching for the Notepad editor, and running common programs—went without incident.
The result is a snapshot on a Windows 11 Insider Preview system. The displayed score is an internal program metric and does not guarantee complete data protection. Users of AntiSpy 2 should review the suggested changes and keep in mind that results may vary depending on the Windows version and system configuration.
